PAUL MASON 1a | SALT IS NOT KEY LINK TO HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE It is INSULIN!

http://www.DoctorsToTrust.com
presents episode 729 | Dr Paul Mason
Mikhaila Peterson podcast

Fluid volume of blood is governed by sodium levels…

If not enough:
-feel thirsty
-but without sodium, blood
will not hold fluids, so
urinate them out

On a ketogenic diet?
when sodium deficient:
-feel dizzy when stand up
-So: add more sodium to diet

Study of children:
[sugar is half glucose; half fructose] 1-group typical sugar carbs
2-group replaced fructose with 1005 glucose
results: glucose group, within one week:
significantly reduce fat in liver!

fructose contributes DIRECTLY to insulin resistance
fatty liver is a direct cause of insulin resistance
insulin not working properly, so it increases

while insulin may stop working well in muscles
it can still work well in fat tissue:
-it stores carbs as fat
-works well in kidneys:
-holds onto sodium
THIS CAUSES HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE

on other hand, you can consume a lot of salt:
if you have low insulin, then
you simply urinate excess out
