418 long-term patients in follow up:
-74 ng/ml blood 250HD3
-avg: 119
-range: 74 – 384
Serum calcium:
-avg: 9.6 mg/dl
-range: 8.6 – 10.5
[normal: 8.5 – 10.5] “This is within normal range for
calcium in blood”

Compared to group not taking
vitamin D supplements…
-mean 250HD3: 27 ng/ml
“Much lower than those taking it
[118] Blood calcium?
-taking vitamin D: 9.6
-not taking vitamin D: 9.5
NO STATISTICAL DIFFERENCE
