The Prodigal Daughter

Luke
And, behold, a woman in the city, which was a sinner,
And stood at Jesus’ feet behind him weeping,
began to wash his feet with tears,
did wipe them with the hairs of her head,
kissed his feet,
anointed them with ointment.
Jesus turned to the woman, and said unto Simon, the Pharisee
Seest thou this woman?
I entered into thine house, thou gavest me no water for my feet:
but she hath washed my feet with tears,
and wiped them with the hairs of her head.
My head with oil thou didst not anoint:
but this woman hath anointed my feet with ointment.
And he said unto her, Thy sins are forgiven.

Luke
Jesus entered into a certain village:
Martha received him into her house.
Martha’s sister sat at Jesus’ feet, and heard his word.
Martha said,
Lord, dost thou not care that my sister hath left me to serve alone?
Jesus answered Martha, Martha,
But one thing is needful and your sister hath chosen that good part,
which shall not be taken away from her.

John
[Jesus, with disciples, in Galilee; heard Lazarus was deathly ill
came into Bethany,
Lazarus already in tomb 4 days] Asked: Where have ye laid him?
They said unto him, Lord, come and see.
Jesus wept.
Then said the Jews, Behold how he aloved him!
Jesus cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth.
And he that was dead came forth
Then many of the Jews which came to Lazarus’ sister,
and had seen the things which Jesus did,
believed on him.

John
Jesus six days before the passover came to Bethany,
Martha’s sister took ointment and anointed the feet of Jesus,
wiped his feet with her hair
[Judas Iscariat objected] Said Jesus, Let her alone:
against the day of my burying hath she kept this.

John
Now there stood by the cross of Jesus his amother,
and his mother’s sister,
and Martha & Lazarus’ sister.

John
The first day of the week she came early, unto the sepulchre,
and seeth the stone taken away from the sepulchre.
[John and Peter had came to the sepulchre,
seeing that it was empty, returned to John’s house] [she waited there, alone] She stood without at the sepulchre weeping: and as she wept,
she stooped down, and looked into the sepulchre,
And seeth two angels in white sitting, the one at the head,
the other at the feet,
where the body of Jesus had lain.
They say unto her, Woman, why weepest thou?
Because they have taken away my Lord.
When she had thus said, she turned herself back,
and saw Jesus standing,
and knew not that it was Jesus.
Jesus saith unto her, Woman,
why weepest thou?
whom seekest thou?
She, supposing him to be the gardener, saith unto him,
Sir, if thou have borne him hence, tell me where thou hast laid him,
and I will take him away.
Jesus saith unto her, MARY.
…perhaps most inspiring, compelling word ever spoken.

His appearance to MARY MAGDALINE,
confirmed the resurrection,
the atonement,
and the Doctrine of Christ
for all mankind
