Cynthia, with Mike Mutzel, High Intensity Health podcast, Jan 2021, tells how she works with Olympic and other athletes to get steak-adapted, and thus be better prepared for events. She and her husband used this approach with the #1 female wrestler in America last year. Being fat-adapted (steak-adapted) allows for better calmness and better transport of fatty acids for fuel. There is no crash, as with carb-loading. Animal-based protein, such as from steak and from whey protein is far superior to plant-based protein, which is so weak that it must be super concentrated, which leads to bio-accumulation of heavy metals…harmful to zinc absorption.
