Animal-based protein has been the most important ingredient in our diets throughout our history until the last 50 years. Under the government nutrition guidelines which came out 50 years ago, Americans changed from being mostly fit to today’s estimated 88% overweight or prediabetic. The latest research by doctors such as Dr. Gabrielle Lyon, Dr. Paul Mason, Dr. Shawn Baker, Dr. Ben Bikman Dr. Ted Naiman, and Dr. Jose Antonio show how critical it is for our muscle and bone strength to eat high-protein animal foods. this includes any type of meat, any type of fish, seafood, eggs, cheese, and dairy. They recommend eating 1 g of protein per day for each pound of our ideal body weight. This level of protein enables us to: -never be hungry, -never have to count calories, and -we should have plenty of food options.
